I've finally got myself together and set up official guidelines and deadlines and all that stuff for this contest. So, here it is!

Basically:

The basic premise for this contest is a self portrait--but with a twist. The self portrait must be primarily blue (slight touches of other colors is fine). You can draw this self portrait in a cartoon style, a realistic one, or even as an animal if that's what you like to draw! If you're not sure if the entry will count, feel free to comment.

Entries will eventually be judged on creativity, as well as skill.

Your entry has to be a new drawing, and I'd love you to link back to the contest in the description of your drawing and mention that it's for this.

Once you have your entry, please either link to it in a comment on this journal or send me a note.

Deadline: April 14 (may be adjusted, let's see how it goes).

I've thought of a theme for the contest.
Draw yourself! Also, there's a twist--your drawing has to be blue. It can be multiple shades and tones and types of blue, but it has to be blue. (Inclusion of the colors black and white are fine, and slight touches of other colors are also okay).
It can be cartoon or realism, but it has to be a new drawing, created specifically for this contest. I'd appreciate if you'd link to this contest in the comments of your drawing!
Also I would love if you could spread the word!

I'm working on teaching myself animation, and I'd love for some people to record some simple phrases for me to animate lip syncing to.
